Arapgir Historic Houses: Surveying and Restoration Project

KG Engineering has initiated a collaborative project with Arkeoteknik, made possible by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, to undertake the design and engineering of historic structures damaged in the February 2023 earthquakes.

As part of the project's documentation phase, KG Engineering has successfully generated orthophotos and point cloud datasets. This high-precision digital documentation provides a comprehensive record of the historic structures, serving as a foundation for the subsequent design and engineering phases.

With the coordination and logistical support of the Malatya Arapgir Municipality, we are working together to develop scientifically sound projects that will restore these historic structures to their former glory. We are proud to be part of this valuable project and would like to express our gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Arapgir Municipality, the people of Arapgir, and our project partners for their support.
